Any cheap fix for pitting clear?
I got a 94 crown vic from my aunt just as something to drive around it. It has high mileage, but runs and drives good, and actually looks pretty decent too. She took great care of the interior and the body is straight as an arrow. The only thing is on the roof it has a section of paint maybe about 1 sq. ft. where the clear is all pitted/white, like the ford clearcoats get. Is there any kind of cheap fix for this other than stripping it and repainting it? Normally it wouldn't bother me, but it is the only thing wrong with the whole exterior of the car, so if there is any way of fixing it cheap, I might just do that. If anyone knows any way, let me know. Thanks.
