92 grand prix head lamps on a 93 bird

I tried cleaning the old headlamps but i end up messing them up so i got 92 pontiac grand prix SE headlamps with the small park lamps so installed them to my bird with modding of the header panel i hooked up the park lamps and added a amber to one of the bulbs to give it a 94-97 look. I just have to adjust them a bit ill post some pics soon.

you oughtta put some covers on there during the day so it wouldn't look that bad, and take them off at night, who cares about what they look like at night as long as they work?

Wow, I thought they were the rounded ones. Maybe use fiberglass and wire mesh to fill in the gap there if you decide to keep them?

you gonna change over the front to a 94 up style? cause the 96-97 lights will look just as funky with the older front bumper and hood.

Unlike everyone else, I like it.
If you can find a way to make them match the lines of the body and properly aim them, I think it could look pretty mean. Modify some stock inner marker lights to fit flush and you're all set.
Nice work. I always admire the truly custom stuff.

Wouldn't a later Grand Prix headlight setup look similar to the one from the netherlands? I always wondered that...... I like the seperate sealed beams like the 93-96 (I think) Camaro.....

like this:

2013 Subaru BRZ
1998 Explorer Sport, with a 5sp manual
The Bird is gone.

well the headlamps have hi and low beam sockets which the bulbs fit perfectly. And there are two small bulbs that go into each headlamp:

------low beam---highbeam----
-----small bulb---small bulb----

So what i did is changed one of the small white bulbs with a amber one to give it a 94-97 look. at the same time the white ones light the headlamps while the park lights are one.

All grandprixs se 91-96 have lights that go across the front that come on when the park lights are on.(check it on on a site and see)

I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw one of those cars in the lot the other day. They don't appear to be as tall as the gap between the hood and bumper cover in a tbird though.

If they were the correct size, it would take all the fun out of the customizing.....
