Question spoiler mounting

what would be the best way to mount a spoiler?
i was thinkin 3m double sided tape.

I wouldn't trust it to tape. Only way I'd trust is to bolt it on. Though I'd have to hire someone to do it and not watch them drill the holes!

yea its ugly, with the ford one with the template, 5 smaller holes, 1 9/16 hole and then the hole saw to the back of the trunklid to make sure you can attach it .

I wouldn't trust just tape either. Mount it with some bolts and tape.
My spoiler had two bolts broken off each side, so I put to drywall mounting bolts in their place. Like a charm, 3 years and running.

Does the 96-97 spoiler mount to a 95 decklid? Kinda like the way they look.

I don't know how that one mounts but if you drill remmember to paint the holes so they don't rust then use some sort of rubber O ring so no watter gets in the trunk. you may think I'm stupid for reminding you to do this but I have seen it not done right so 1000s of times and it is so easy to do it right.
