thats actually pretty cool looking, not what i would choose though.

96 pearl white 4.6 tbird: rebuilt npi block with pi heads, pi intake, crower stage 2 cams, shm high lift springs, L-MAF, 3.73's, marauder converter, jmod, kooks headers, xpipe, no cats, 2.5 in exhaust, no mufflers, a dyno tune, lots of interior work, 1 in drop with lots of new bushings, 18 in rims. 279 hp 319 tq. curently running 13.9 at 101 mph with a 2.1 60 time in 100 degree weather while having some nasty spark knock. Soon to have higher stall, aftermarket intake manifold, weight reduction, and hopefully a nice shot of the giggle gas.

I saw one at a car show and talked to the owner builder. The kit is actually VERY easy to do. But it only includes the fenders, hood, deck, and quarters. All the chrome and brightwork you have to supply yourself. either repro Ford or Merc parts, or (god forbid) actual 1950's Ford parts.

He told me about the kit, I told him how to improve his running gear. (PBR's, J-Mod, PI heads, etc.)

Ya, rears are usually ugly. Some of the fronts look nice. Now they're doing the 57-style Chevy.

Some I liked, at least parts of them. Could mix and match to get a decent one, but for $3000+paint/body work, no thanks.

I was driving the other day and actually saw one of these. It was traveling in the oppsoite direction, so I really couldnt get a good look, but oddly enough there was also one of those fake *** cougar limo type things that look like they from the 20's parked on the corner of the same road. I will take the camera with me next time and see if that one is still there.
