Replacing factory headlamps

The listing below is what autozone sells for my 96 cougar.

HEADLIGHT for a 1996 MERCURY COUGAR XR7
Sylvania/Valuecraft Dual Beam 9007BP/UPP
$7.99 (1 PER PACKAGE)

After 10 years of use, i want to go with a brighter lamp. I do not want to spend megabucks, i just want to keep it simple, but better than OEM. Any suggestions?

Ordered two 9007 ST headlamps on ebay for $26 (shipping included) and got them 48 hours later. Spent about 5 minutes to put them in, and i was amazed at the cleaner brighter light i have. Thanks goes to everyone for their suggestions!
