No more clear corners (89-95)

I've been on ebay and it looks like theres only clears for the 96-97. Whats up with that? Are there any other companies I can get these from?

I don't understand the fascination with clear corners. The amber corners are a big part of the car's personality. Why does everyone want their cars looking like a Camry? Everybody and their brother is doing it.

I saw your car with the corners that you made and liked that, not something you see everyday.

Obviously some people like the look, and it is their tatse. That's not what I'm saying and I'm not here to argue the point that some people like it. That is understood and respected. I'm looking for a little insight into why these are all the rage. Is there something to them besides the obvious appearance differences? As far as I know, this is a discussion forum, and that's what I'm doing. I've been visiting this board since '99 and I'm 28 years-old, and I don't like being told to "drop it". I'm not condescending towards anyone here and I'd appreciate the same in return.

Care to share? I've been looking but can only find ones for the 96-97 style. Maybe its time to go back to the stock corners?

I have clear corners on my Alpine Green Cougar and it looks great. It makes it look like the head lights start from the fenders and continue to the bumper cover

I have clear corners as well as painted headlights. I didn't like the look at first and really wanted to open up those aftermarket lights and paint them to match the other lights...but now I've come to like it.

BUT: the driver's side light doesn't line up with the fender/bumper cover all that well. I've been hit right under the lamp, and the bumper is pushed in slightly...but it will still stick out even when the damage is fixed. Passenger side fits like factory. These are from Matrix Racing, anybody know ones that will actually fit well??

I just got done replacing the stock bulbs with silverstars what a difference in the quality of light they put out compared to the regular line of sylvaina bulbs is 100% better than stock bulbs I rather pay a little more to be able to see where I'm going.

My car went from an old and dated look to new and modern by putting in new headlights and clear corners. I think the difference is amazing and have gotten compliments.
