Question tire size..

this spring i am likely getting new wheels... the millie miglia mm11^2's. 17x8... i want to go 255 in front and 265 in back. but i want to know a) will they fit safely and b)what profile do it need for near stock tire height.. right now i have the turbine 15s with stock size tires. thanks. -greg

the 255's in the front may have issues with rubbing, depending on the backspacing of the wheel. I would suggest 245's to keep from even having that problem.
As for the 265's they should fit without an issue.

As for the height I would say 55 in the front, and 50 in the rear, as remember when the tire gets wider it also gets taller.

yea, i know the whole thing where the 50 in 245/50/17 is percent of tire width, but i cant translate that into size. however, i have a 90, so i have the older spindles and such which ive heard leave more room for a wider tire. does anyone knowthe backspacing on those wheels? Millie Miglia MM 11^2's?? oh, thanks. -greg
