Paint Touch Up Question

On the bottomleft side of my bird there lies a 2x2 inch spot of rust, only surface luckily. Should I pay the local body shop to fix it or sand, prime and do it myself?
If I should I'm do it myself, I'm gonna do it right.

man, that rust down there never goes away. get it done at a body shop that offers a lifetime warranty. theres lots of them out there. that way when it shows up again, bring it back.

Thx, I gotta get the hinge replaced anyways. Might as well kill two birds wit one stone.
