I'm having to replace the multifunction switch on my 95 Thunderbird, my book says you just have to remove the lever, ignition switch and 4 screws and pull the covers off. But it seems most of the people having to replace the switch are having to remove parts of the dash to get the covers off, has anyone actually been able to remove the column covers without removing the dash panels? Mine are already cracked, and removing them would be require more time that I don't have the luxury of, just wondering if there is a switch spot angle to tilt the steering column to get the top cover off easily?
