Will the cluster fit and work in a 89 cougar with a digital dash?

I've come into this world with nothing and still manage to have some of it left.

I doubt it. The dash shape from a 95 Lincoln Mark VIII is not even close to an 89 Merc/Tbird cluster. I mean unless someone knows something I don't I don't see how this could fit.

Yup, they'll fit. From 93 to 97 they are all interchangable. My car is a 95 and it currently has 97 LED panels in it... and in addition my car has a 94 trunk lid on it from my prior 94 SC parts car.

I've never looking into it but the Cougar might need a trunk lid change to accommodate the T-bird lights, and I do not believe the roll of the decklid matches the top of the cougar quater panel. i have never looked into this and could be way off base though. However, if they do fit I think it is going to be difficult to remove the T-bird emblem from the rear LED panel. I suppose you might be running the risk of cracking a lens. On the same token, at 10 bucks a piece and some shipping you could buy em and then try to remove it to see how it works out. Just know in advance that the lens has the shape of the emblem molded into it... it isn't flat once you get the molding off.

Just lowereed the prices on a few items and marked a set of the red corner and LED lights as SOLD. I am shipping out the one set today.

The only other thing I have to correct is that if someone now wants the other 4 LED panels together they are not 50 bucks since that was for all of the original 6 panels together. They are 10 a piece or 30 bucks for the remaining 4 plus shipping.

The T-bird set and both Mark VIII sets are both from 95 cars. The Lincolns were 95 LSCs ans I believe are the same from 93 to 97/98. The T-bird ones came off my 95 LX. I don't remember what other years they fit other than 94, if any.

I don't have additional pics off hand, but if you tell me which mouldings you want more pics of I can take them and post.

Let me know. Thanks

Other pics are not needed now that I took a look at some members cars....

I have been him hawing around the idea of switching the molding of my 93 with some like that, but I am undecided...

Are they gouged up, are they going to need some icing or filler?

I see the long peices have a few little black nicks in them, just curious how much work they would take.. And assume they are applied with double side sticky tape..

The white ones are perfect but need paint... the black "chip" marks on those are the paint that has flaked.

The maroon ones are in very good shape but could be swiped with some icing. There is the one scuff in it. It is even possible that sanding and a little fill primer could take care of it.

On my 95 LX the moldings just peel off. Then I used a tar and grease remover to cut the rest of the adhesive off... on the wider 93 moldings I don't know off hand if they will be the same way or if they used use a location nipple on the back of the molding. If they use a location nipple on the back then you will have a line of holes in the door after removing it. That will not be a big deal if you plan on placing a molding on afterward, but if you are going to remove the existing and then drive around for awhile before replacing the moldings you might not like the holes being there.

You might want to ask in the general tech area is there are location holes in the doors and quarters on a 93 Bird/Cougar under the side moldings just to be sure.

By the way where do you live?

Murderland I guess that could be Youngstown since they had the most murders in america for a city it's size for like 3 years in a row a few years back.

Actually Bodymore, Murderland is describing Baltimore, Maryland... that is because we are the 2nd most violent crimes commited city in the country (regardless of size) and we are just recently (withhin the last few years) knocked down from holding the record for the highest number of homicides in the nation. A while back (10 years or better) D.C. held that record, and then they passed it along to us apparently. Currently I believe we hold the 2nd place for that as well.

I am not mentioning this as though I am proud. I think it is sick really, and frankly hope that I can either get over to the eastern shore or even better down in North Carolina somewhere on some whater front property. I have family down there, so that may prove to be possible in the next 5 years with work... assuming I don't get shot or something first .

It's odd. For the statistics you'd think I walk around in fear, but isn't like that. One I live in Baltimore county so it isn't like I'm in the hood. However, even Baltimore City itself is odd.
Side note: as I am writing this the news is covering a fatal stabbing in Dundalk (2 victims).
The city is now under MAJOR renovations and many of the area's "elite" are moving back in so the none to savory individuals are being compressed into smaller and smaller concentrations. It has been like this for the last 10 years.

I have seen it myself where you roll onto one block and it is the most beatifully restored homes and people are walking dogs, reading books on the benches and jogging. Then you literally turn a corner or cross an intersection and prostitutes are standing around and you can actually watch a corner drug deal. It is all side by side, but yet somehow the brutal crimes rarely cross lines. The murders are mostly happening to those involved in the city's drug scene. In the worst parts of the city are where there are gangs, and those gangs are responsible for a majority of this mess. However, on the flip side there are instances of violence in the county from time to time, but they are weird. We have had 1 "myspace" murder right on an interstate off ramp that is about 10 minutes from my house... maybe 15 on the outside. It was 2 locals that met on that site and the girl in her wisdom thought to meet up with the guy... she never made it home. He was caught, but what he did was so ill hearted I am not going into the details. We seem to hear about 2 or 3 of those a year.
Our city and sorrounding counties seem to have this culture...
drugs end in murder
domestic abuse ends in murder
missing persons end in murder
gangs end in murder
road rage ends in murder

I don't like to go out into the city because you don't know if bumping into someone might start a chain of events where someone pulls out a gun and shoots. It is a sad sad culture. I think there is so much stress and depression between Baltimore and D.C. that people a beginning to handle it in very very disheartening ways.

I am aaaaaaaaall about getting some place where the mood of the environment is relaxed and without the constant stress and heartache of the city's constant grind. I can't stand it here actually. And I guess that is saying something because as I said... where I live there is no immediate threat but just knowing it is there is enough to want to get away.

Oh... and clean isn't one I would use to describe Baltimore either. "They" are trying to make it better, but it isn't reform. Those running the city have only managed to make certain select areas "appear" cleaned up. Baltimore does only 2 things. It makes the rich richer and the poor dangerous. Neither can be trusted or is any better than the other.

Very well put. That is crazy that it is like that in this world...

In Youngstown it is isolated by the southside/northside, the southside which is known for the gangs, drugs, and gang violence and then the Northside which is basically the business district and historical part of the city. Still has crime but since the cops patrol the business district more, obviously the drugs and crime will occur where they are not......the southside.

But it seems like as of late people are burning alot of houses down, not necessarily to commit a crime, but for them they live in the ghetto next to run down abandon houses. So they burn them.

Here in Ohio about 2 years ago they passed a law that allows people that complete a gun safety course in concealed carry (costs about 180 bucks for the course i believe) to carry a gun. Of course there are multiple place that prohibits firearms. But this is supposed to put a fear in people due to the fact you dont know if the guy in the truck you just gave the finger too has a smith n wesson on his lap or not etc. So it is supposed to stop you from giving the finger which could snowball into violence...They are trying to control anger with this becuase you never know who could have a gun and that is always in the back of your head...

I was skeptical 2 years ago, thinking the crime would go up because there are alot of people with BiPolar disorder, Depression, and Schizo's out there that are not diagnosed and these people are just thought to be crazy and some are.......But actually statistically the murder rate has dropped slightly and so have other violent crimes.......

But I don't know if the latest one from Ohio made the news in Baltimore or not, I know it was on CNN how the cop kidnapped an ex girlfreind who he had a child with and murdered her and hid her body. Well it took about a week and they found here, another week and he was behind bars...this was about a month ago.
