Parting out my 97/98 4.6 DOHC Cobra/Mark VIII project lots of good parts.

Hey all, I'm going to be parting out my 1997 DOHC project motor and related parts.

The motor was pulled from a 1997 Mark VIII with 114k miles on it. The only things I'm keeping are the block, flex plate and oil pan.

The best way to contact me is via email, [email protected]

All prices are including shipping unless other wise marked, if you are local and want to pickup email me for a better price. (Pickup/Cash discount)

I can do $120.00 shipped W/O the cops if you can pay via money order $127.00 via PayPal.

I know that may seem high but after I split them I'll have a hard time selling the cops.

Let me know..

Just an idea, I may trade the whole lot for a car and or truck...

I prefer 4.6L models but would be willing to hear offers.

It looks like I have about $2,500.00 worth of parts if I was to take off shipping and sale them all local so lets say a car/truck worth $1,500 or better.

Alright cool yeah cuz i got a 95 MkVIII motor im rebuilding. I'd love to get that Cobra intake but unfortunitly i just don't have the money to buy it so i'll settle for second best i guess haha. Well if u havent recieved the money order by Friday i'll buy probably via Paypal if you have it that is. Otherwise maybe i can do like a money transfer into your bank account or something.

Since I'm in this to make sure people get the right part rather then me make a fast buck I can say the intake on that 95 DOCH is going to be a better intake then the 97-98 intakes uses on the Marks.

I would say if you can't get the Cobra intake keep the one you have since the 97-98 are known for not being as nice as the 93-96 as fair as flow despite being a little better looking.

Really? Wow thanks. I figured it would be the exact opposite, like the 94/95 and 96/97 differences.

If you look at your 95 intake it has tubes running each port in place (Composite) tubes if I recall. So when cleaned they are softer and move air faster. The 97-98 are just very poorly designed.

The Cobra intake was the best they made for the B heads but a lot of stuff for the Cobra got that extra SVT touch.
