NPI Head Assemblies

I'm having new cylinder heads built for my SVO-blown Big Bore. The "old" heads are in excellent condition and will work well on a naturally aspirated or streetable forced induction setup. Specs are as follows:
* 1997 NPI castings
* Ported and polished by Jim O'Neill
* 0.5mm oversize SS valves
* Manley Nextec springs
The valvetrain only has about 3,000 miles of use.

Price is $660 shipped to the lower 48 states. Can be paid by credit card through ModularPerformance if desired.

Will these heads work on a completely stock 1997 T-Bird 4.6 liter V-8 without any modifications or major new parts? My current heads have, I believe, worn valve guides that cause my car to use some oil and smoke a bit from the exhaust when it's idling and I'd love to take care of that problem!

Thanks,

Dennis

dmw_4814,

They will bolt up with no mechanical mods. You will need to reuse your cams, lash adjusters and rockers, as they are not included.

3 blue Merks,

Vlv Lift Int CFM Exh CFM
0.100 60 45
0.200 102 87
0.300 143 113
0.400 173 118
0.500 194 119

These heads are obviously not world-beaters on the exhaust side, but they are good enough to support the power and torque figures in my signature!

What other mods do you have and how much boost are you running?

It has a big bore conversion with stock CR, Comp XE274H cams, water/meth injection and 12 lbs of non-intercooled boost. The intake side consists of a home-built 4" diameter cold air setup with a 90mm LMAF and 75mm TB. Exhaust includes Kooks mid-length headers, high flow cats and a 2.5" true dual system.

For those unfamiliar with the name Jim O'Neill, he is the guy who runs Renegade Racing.

Price Reduced

Price is reduced to $500 shipped to the lower 48 states. You will not find a better deal on NPI heads!

Can be paid by credit card through ModularPerformance if desired.

WTF, I don't understand why these have not sold, even at $600.00. Are you selling them on any other board?

TGJ,

They are also listed on ModularDepot, ModularFords and the Corral. I've been surprised by the lack of interest too.
