94-97 3.8L 4R70W 57" driveshaft (4R70W overall length 32")
89-95 3.8L M5R2 53.80" driveshaft (M5R2 overall length 35")
89-93 3.8L AOD 57.80" driveshaft (AOD overall length 31")
94-97 4.6L 4R70W 58.20" driveshaft (4R70W overall length 32")
93-98 Mark VIII 4R70W 58.20" driveshaft (4R70W overall length 32")
94-04 Crown Vic 4R70W 55.50" driveshaft (4R70W overall length 32")

Only the 93's had them.

Yes, the later shafts are two piece aluminum but that wouldn't make much difference at this power level.

I'm not sure but, I don't think it'll fit a 5.0 with an aod. But let me know what you figure out.

because it seems people wentt back and forth saying yes it will and no it wont

im thinking it isnt a direct fit i believe it needs to be cut down to length

It don't need cut down to length..All you have to do is swap yokes since the Mark VIII yoke is thicker than the AOD yoke..however it is a tight fit..so you need to drop the differential a tiny bit to get it in there..

Getting back to the question... lol So it actually seems like with a yoke swap, you could use this driveshaft.
