Moving "Sale"

Ok, here's the deal. My landlord announced that she "needs" to sell the house. I told her I could not, and would not pay what she asked for it (A "special" deal since I was already living there of about 10,000 more than its worth). She then gave me 30 days notice to vacate the premises. Trying to find a place in this town that has all the space I need, and allows pets, and doesn't charge a fortune has proven difficult. I am in the process of moving in with a friend temporarily while I continue my search.

Now that you know the story, here's the deal. I need to unload some stuff! lots of it. I will GIVE it away if anyone wants to come get it. I'll list here and now what I have in the shed that I know of off the top of my head, and do a more thorough inventory later on. Most of these parts came off of the Limited Edition

There is:

A rear deck (the wing was removed, so it has the mounting holes in it)
A set of doors (96-97) WITH inner panels, motors, windows, latches, etc.
exhaust manifolds for a 4.6
various and numerous grey interior pieces
4.6 cams (some NPI, a few PI, I need to check the parts numbers to make sure which is which)
a complete moonroof assembly for a 97 Thunderbird
rear bumper cover (with cutouts for exhaust tips)

There is more, but I really just need to get out there and look.

If you live nearby, or are passing through, PLEASE come help me out here.

I'm not exactly nearby, more like 5 hours away, but could definitely use interior pieces. Working on a 94 with lots of broken panels, half of them were held together with electrical tape

Needs more stall.

Not that far... let me go through what I've got, and get a list together and maybe we can work something out. what part of OK are you in? I've got a friend moving down to Sand Springs soon... maybe she can bring some parts with her. Or I can meet you halfway... all kinds of answers come to mind if we just think on it!

(of course you know what'll happen... I'll unload all these parts, and my T-bird will start falling apart and needing them!)

(by the way, thanks splattered)

I'm in western OK, so no matter what it would be a few hours to get there. I'd be fine with just driving to Kansas.

Needs more stall.

I might be interested in some items as well and could drive down to pick them up. Are the 96/97 door panels gray and in good shape? I'll check back once you have a complete list and see if there is anything I could use.

Yes, the door panels are all in great shape inside and out... The glass in the doors is tinted. (35% if I remember right). I'll get the list up tomorrow.

Edit: sorry.. didn't pay attention.. yes, they are gray

I know I said if you'd just come pick them up you could have them... and I will stick to that original offer... But this move is killing me.. if you come get a part and feel like making a donation, I'd gladly accept it! lol

(oh yea, the rear ends probably will require a donation to the cause)

What I meant was, as he was present when the car was dismantled, he made an offer on it and took it home that day... I don't know because that was over two years ago and I can't remember what was and wasn't sold that day. i'll look for it tomorrow.

Seth, I shipped a complete TL once... its a bigger pain than its worth. If you'd like I could meet you in Joplin, I get by there once in a while.

LOL that'd be great. I need to have the garage and Shed empty by next weekend...

Now.. a new list. All interior pieces are for a gray interior.. exterior in Blue unless otherwise noted.
Any engine pieces are from a 4.6 V8

I went through the shed and found the following items.. (though there are still more I believe) There are some pieces that I'd be happy to just give away... others I'd like to be paid for.. a little common sense should let you know which is which, if you don't know feel free to ask! (feel free to be generous.. this move is wiping me out)

Mechanical
climate control unit.. digital (F)
steering column with wheel (no airbag) $
brake booster and a Master Cylinder $
set of original front brakes from a 97 Bird $
power steering pump (F)
alternator (F)
set of PBR calipers with brackets (plus an extra one) $
coolant resevoir (F)
1/2 of a 4.6 head installation kit (yes one half lol ONE head gasket ONE set of new head bolts) (F)
A 4R70W Valve body (worked when removed)
Standard Front sway bar (F)
transmission dipstick tube (new) (F)
timing chains/guides, rockers, lifters (F)
Cams (still not sure how many of each) $
Power Steering Cooler (F)
A/C "tank" (don't know much about air conditioner parts.. its a small tank about 10 inches high.. ??) (F)
Torque Converter from a 4.6 Thunderbird $

Interior:all gray from a 97
Set of visors (for a sunroof car)
L & R C-Pillar trim
L & R A pillar trim
Dash piece (with defroster vents in it)
Plastic piece under the steering wheel (crotch cooler vent?)
L kick panel (R side is cracked)
Glove box
gray leather 93 SuperCoupe Seats front AND rear (fold down) needs upholstery $$

exterior
SC ground effects With brackets (they've been trimmed a tiny bit so they'd fit under the 96-97 trim) $$
2 front license plate brackets (F)
Wiper motor assembly (motor, arms, plate, etc.) $
Fuel door (F)
Black exterior trim (around doors, etc.)
trunk seal
R fender (laser red) (F)
96-97 exterior trim (F)

I could meet in Joplin. When would you want to meet up? I will have a day off here and there. I will be pulling my transmission out of one of my cars possibly on next wednesday. I may be available next weekend. Just let me know. I'll bring my LE, since you seem to be fond of them.

Seth

oh BTW. I don't know if it would be better to get the working 3.27 TL or the disassambled one. I would be getting different gears put in any way.

Still got these parts, I'd still love to sell them.. just tired of storing them, and waiting to need them!

Sold the 3.27 trac-loc, and the rear diff cover from the disassembled one.. other than that still got everything.

Well, won't be doing nearly as much wrenching on the T-bird now. On Sunday/Monday someone broke into several storage units and helped themselves. One was mine. They got my tools, my air compressor, a high performance bicycle being built for my return to racing, and in the process of removing the air compressor OVER the t-bird doors and other items they didn't want they scratched the hell out of those. Pissed, depressed, just don't know what to think.. this spring has pretty much sucked.. Oh yea, a lot of the larger tools I got from my grandfather.
