FS: Fresh IRS 8.8 diff with 3.73s & trac-loc

I have a complete iron 8.8 pumpkin for sale. I bought this a year ago and never installed it. It has about 2k on it from what i was told and didn't make any noise. It was run exclusively with royal purple - I know because I use the stuff in my dad's porsche, and it looks/smells the same.

All new seals... Apparently this has the kevlar clutches in it but I never checked. I have a brand new cover gasket too.

Unit will be shipped in a wood crate.

$400 shipped to your door in the 48 US states. $320 if you come and get it (located in Ames, IA).

PM me if interested!

I would have, IN JANUARY.. I paid about $500 for the same thing with all new componets. This is a really good deal, especially with shipping. These are like boat anchors to ship.

For people on the fence on this, adding just the 3.73s is very nice, but you are getting a Trac-Lok as well. This is a must have for anyone who has an open 3.08 rear end.

I was going to swap it in my mark but believe it or not, getting the speedcal device made me say no way. I didn't do my homework and my 99 4r70w has an 8 tooth output shaft so I would need to wire one in. Plus since I'm trying to sell the car it wasn't worth swapping it.
