I have read in the diff section that the IRS cariers are different from the solid axle carriers. Something about the side gears needing a recess for a c-clip or something. Dirtydog seems to be the expert on that one.

OK, I found out what has to be done to the TL to make it work in the IRS. What are you looking to get for it? Does it include gears or just the carrier?

Why did you leave the 87-91 F-series XLT Lariat dash surround attached to the radio?

I'm looking at it, and wondering why it looks familiar and then I realize its the same as the one in my 1989 F-150 Lariat, haha. :p

Do those speakers fit on Thunderbirds? I have a 1989.

Haha, awesome. What variety of truck do you have? Besides it being an 87-91 Fseries Lariat. :p

correcto mundo... its a 90 f150 LWB with a 351W bored .030 main girdle windage tray, 10.5:1 compression, skirt coated pistons, comp's thumpr roller cam with hardened pushrods, world product sportsman sr heads with 2.020 x 1.600 manley stainless valves, comp beehive springs, comp magnum roller rockers, running on factoryish efi... which reminds me im looking for a weiand stealth and a 750ish carb.... what else, built C6 with 3300 stall, forged aluminum driveshaft with loop, 8.8" with detroit locker, rear disc brake swap, flat black of course, billet grille, tonneau cover, line lock, roll pan, smoked headlights and tail lights, im sure theres more.... i would show pics but i decided i wont until its lowered and has the rest of the body work done (getting the old ford box rust)

to make things easier....not everyone who looks at the thread, reads every post. So if they see something for sale in the first post, and there are 20 messages behind it, they usually don't read it. Hence why people keep asking if the speakers are forsale. Remove the items in the first post, or edit the post and make is say SOLD or something next to what you are selling

Nick......................I'm back!!!
May you fly low and fast
rest in peace JL
