Darren,

Any other pictures with it installed? Not sure if it would clear the 3.8 alternator. I'll check your Gallery.

Thanks Darren! I think the alternator on mine will be an issue though. I need to take a good look at mine, but it's raining!

Tires look familiar!

Thanks, there is an article in this forum that calls out to use conduit which is a waste of time.

Not a "Theory" Condiut will flex, making it useless.

I have purchased from a couple of different manufacturers several for different cars in the past years and NO one ever advertised them as being hollow or conduit.

I am just trying to pass on what I have learned.

If the manufacturer is using EMT conduit, then it might flex-depending on the OD of the tubing used. IMC or Rigid metallic WILL NOT flex in an automotive application like this.

Thanks, just me thinking.

Then answer this, why do all the manuf's use solid bars if it was not stronger?

Roush, Saleen, Steeda all use Solid bars.

I assure you that all STB's are not solid. Buy one of each of those, cut them in half and see for yourself.
As an electrician by trade I use ALL types of conduit daily. The small forces applied to the chassis of a vehicle are minuscule in reference to the lateral load that tubing can handle. If tubing was insufficient for use in this manner, then ALL SFI certified rollbars and cages would be required to be made from soild barstock.
I can assure you that 1" IMC or Rigid steel conduit will not flex in this application, and that you can suspend the engine in-car from one with the front subframe dropped out.

You know it may be IMC or Rigid metallic. Because its not that heavy to be solid. but it sure is strong in the NOT to flex department I brought it off here not sure who made them but very nice work !!
