97 Center Consoles

I have a few 97 black center consoles for sale. These are a nice upgrade for the 94-96 cars because they add real cup holders to your car.

$50 each shipped within US. Good condition, no broken tabs. The rubber inserts not pictured are included.

Search and you will find some information on this. The ash tray for a 97 is below the radio where the info center is on a 94 - 96. You can relocate the lighter by cutting a hole for it in the 97 console

Since I don't have any need for the lighter, I cut a hole inside the console and mounted it there. Use it as a power port to charger my cell phone. Did not even bother with the ash tray, kept the warning lights and traction control module in place.

I do have a stereo surround in black. Pretty good shape. I think one of the lower tabs is broken.

any chance you have both outside door handles available for a 96/97

Insomnia sounds serious, But I wouldn't loose any sleep over it.

Here are some pics of the one I have. Good shape and both tabs are in place but there is a crack above one of them where it attaches. See pic 3. You could probably glue it in place and it would be secure.

Hey Joe, I have two questions on these console's. First, the three oval buttons at the head of the console...what the heck are they and what do they do? Are they just for decoration or confusion? Second, do you have a photo of the '97 ashtray/lighter piece that goes where the info center is located on the '94-'96 dash's? I understand mounting the lighter in the new cup holder console, but where? And could you maybe pirate one of the openings where those oval buttons are located? If you or anyone else has any input on this, I'd appreciate your direction and photo's if they are available before I commit to this project. Thanks.

Sorry I haven't been on here much recently and I missed this question.

The 3 ovals are coin holders. I don't have a picture of the 97 ash tray but you probably don't want to remove the 94-96 info center unless you relocate the various warning lights. Most people drill a hole in the 97 console top to mount the cig lighter. There are pictures of this on here somewhere.
