Parting out 1997 3.8 NA Thunderbird

I'm parting out a 1997 Thunderbird with a 3.8 engine. Silver exterior, gray/silver interior (paint code D8).

There is some front end damage and the air bags have gone off.

The following parts are not available:

Gauge surround
Stereo Surround
Transmission
Wiper cowl
panel under steering wheel
Doors
spare tire
seat tracks
taillights
rear corner lights

These parts are damaged and unusable:
Both air bags
header panel
hood
drivers side fender

NO PMs please. Either post in this thread or send me an email at jthierry at erols dot com

Yup. But I'm getting the track. You can have the seat if you want.

I just checked my interior color code and it's A2. You have any idea how far apart D8 and A2 are?

I am looking for the plastic that runs along the left side of the seat. Non-power version though.

I think the D8 is the exterior color. The interior color is probably the same as what you have if its grey. The interior in his car is grey.

According to this chart of exterior colors, there is no D8. It shows codes for all 96 colors, but only the code for white 97's.

http://www.tccoa.com/articles/exterior/paintcodes.html

A pic of the interior plastics would be great.

Yes manual drivers seat. Exterior color is silver not green. Interior is gray. I'm not sure on the interior color code but there was only one choice of gray in 97.

How much for the right most dash air vent on the passenger side? Mine got bumped by my laptop bag and busted some of the slats out, looks horrible.

Rick, good to meet you as well. It really wouldn't have bad if I had realized up front how many bolts and plastic clips were holding it on. I thought I had them all turned out I had only found half of them.

Good luck with your project let me know how it turns out

Despite the front end damage this car does have a good set of headlights. The previous owner replaced the damaged lights with another pair.
