FS: DD 4R70W torque converter

Dirty Dog Performance torque converter $300 + shipping.

The stall speed is somewhere in the 2800-3000 range, depending on the engine output.

Billet front cover, furnace brazed core, more info here:

http://www.dirtydogperformance.com/c.../prod_103.html

This was used for 800 miles, if that. We decided to go with a different stall due to change in blower config. Matching flywheel also available (Mark VIII style).

Man if I had the $300 I'd be all over it. not a good time though with the holidays. This with the Jmod would make my bird(and me) REALLY happy

That is a smokin deal on a billet cover unit, if it weren't so close to christmas I would buy it. I can't build one for that.

If you are wanting higher stall you need a different unit. That unit is maxed out on stall.

Billet front cover makes them handle higher rpm, about a 400rpm stall increase, and a much better friction. It also has other features that make it more durable than any OEM converter.
