How bad are the sun visors? and what exactly is a M5R2 engine plate? the cover that goes between the block and trans?

I'll take some pics when I get home. They aren't horrible, but the material is worn through in a few spots. And yes, the engine plate is what goes between the trans and the block.

Ouch, those visors are pretty rough. How hard is it to recover them? Are they the plastic version or the cardboard ones I've heard about?

They are plastic underneath. I've never recovered a set, but here is a thread detailing how it is done.

-99 Lincoln Continental "C" heads, with cams $200 plus shipping
-Continental B intake to C head adapters

MadMikeyL, would you give me a total with shipping to 37748?

EDIT: what do you want to get for the arc actuators? I want to see if there's a way to adapt them with my konis. I realize no electronics.

I don't want to take them from someone who wants to fix an SC; sell to an SC guy first.

Let me figure out how much those heads weigh and how much shipping will be, and I'll get back to you. As for the ARC actuators, I just went out and took a look at an ARC actuator, and one of the Koni shocks that I have waiting to be installed, and I seriously doubt it would work. The adjuster on the Konis sticks out of the top of the shock, whereas the SC shocks have it recessed. The SC adjuster is also much smaller than the Koni one, so the hole in the actuator is way too small to work with the Koni. Also the SC shocks don't have any resistance turning them, but the Konis do, so I don't think the ARC actuator will even have enough power to turn the adjuster on the Koni shock. I haven't had any other interest in them yet, so it isn't like you are taking them out of the hands of someone who needs them for their SC, but I don't want you to think it is going to be that easy. I'll tell you what, in addition to the 4 I listed, I also have 2 spares that I am keeping for myself. If you want, I'll send you 1 with the heads, and if you can make it work, I'll sell you the other 3, and if not, just mail it back to me?

Sounds great; If I figure out how to make it work, I'll post it up. I'm cool with sending it back.

I'll at least post info on the connections and whatever specs I can figure out, before I send it back.

I realize the heads are heavy to ship; but the more I read, and port on these B heads, the more I realize I want C heads...

I'd just like a "gravel road" button for the konis, lol.

I'd recommend the sport springs for the Konis; the Ratio F/R CrystalPistol posted worked great for me, and the stance is nice.

And they're stiff as ... I mean, they're really stiff.

I've got the Tokico shocks and springs on the tbird; they're nice, but not stiff like the sports.

It kinda makes it the "date car".

PM just sent about the heads.

The car that will be getting the Konis is my 91 Cougar, and it has cut SC springs, so it is very stiff, but it is not going to be anything close to a daily driver. I have the Tokico blues with Eibachs on my MarkVIII, and it rides great for a street car. It is stiff enough to have some fun in the corners, but soft enough that it still rides like a Lincoln. The SC has stock ARC shocks with Eibachs, and that rides a little stiffer than the Mark, but I'm planning to get the Tokico Illumina 2s for the SC since the stock shocks have definitely seen better days.
