I'm sorry, the term modified is the Mfg. description, not anything I modified. The standard Cobra Cowl hood does not have the inlet scoops on the leading edge of the hood only trailing edge ventilation by the windshield.

This hood with the leading inlet scoops really causes the heat to flow out of the engine compartment. Made a huge difference in engine compartment temps on my SC and our Florida summer heat.

Besides I like the way the TBird looks from the front with this hood on, pics of the hood are posted on my SCCOA post.
