Parting out a 96 Thunderbird

Hey all,
I bought a donor for my engine swap and won't need anything off of the rest of the car. I'm just trying to recoup some of the expense for the project, so these will be the perverbal cheap parts. From the pics I've seen, the car seems to be a black rattlecan paint over a rust free body with a decent grey interior.
Let me know what you want and I'll snap pictures of the part and we can discuss prices. I don't care what the parts are worth on the market, I just need to try and offset the cost.

I am using the engine, radiator, trans, driveshaft, coolent overflow and the wiring harnesses for the driveline.
Everything else is up for grabs, so this is your chance to get the parts you need for cheapest prices.

I'll post up general pictures when I get back tonight.

Leather or cloth?

One part i could use is the right side A Pillar cover, and the driver's side, side window defrost vent. The little plastic cover that is ontop of the dashboard that points straight at the window near the mirror, mine fell apart, and the junkyards near me don't have many t-birds.

I need the whole shifter handle, if it's in good shape, with the OD button wiring harness coming out of it, please!

I could use the right most HVAC vent on the passenger side if it's not broken. My brother in law broke mine with his knee.

Okay, I'll ear mark all those parts.
The pics will have to wait until the morning, Im waiting for the car hauler to get here so by the time I get back it will be too dark to take any decent pics. AndI'll take pictures of all of the parts requested and let the buyer decide if the part is worth the effort.

1996 TB Rear PS LED Panel

Do you have a good and 100% lite LED rear PS panel?

Thanks,

Glenn

Does it have the plastic underpan on the front bumper ? It is the part that covers the underneath radiator and area you have to move it to get out the oil filter, it is attached by a few plastic push-in fasteners. I'm missing that on my tbird. It's probably like .7'X4.5'.

Front license plate holder bracket?

And the gauge cluster bezel, what color and shape is that in?

Power seat controller

Do you have one of these in working order?

Do you realize you were just passed by a NASCAR? I didn't think so.

Hey all,
Sorry to be MIA, but I had my engine finals due, the written was yesterday and the hands-on is today. I haven't been able to get any pics yet, the car is sitting on a hauler in front of the house and I live on a hill. So there are bricks propped up under the wheels of the trailer and I'm too chicken to try and climb up and move stuff.

I will tell you that there are no door panels, left HVAC vent and the interior has been painted. The enter console and alot of the trim is now a two tone blue. I'll get some pics of the exterior and hopefully the car will be taken to the shop tomorrow so I can get some interior pics.

Glenn, can you please explain what the part you need is. lite led panel, tailight on the passenger side?

Kenz, I'll check on the pan, but I don't think the car has a front braket, if it does its yours. The bezel is spoken for but when I post the pics that will be the deciding factor.

Tbirdbob, I don't think it has power seats, but I'l double check for you, if it does, it's yours.

Bulldog, i'm guessing the EEC is the engine electronic controler. If it is, i'm most likely going to use it. If I don't need it, It's yours

Thanks for your patience all, God bless

I need the PS rear LED lighted panel with the silver TB emblem on it. The large red panel between the brake light and the license plate.

Thanks,

Glenn

See LED panel image in this link - need PS.

So

The shifter seems to be in real good shape.
The gauge bezel has been painted blue, but otherwise seems in good shape.
The PS tail light is busted, as seen in the pic below. The white specks are some weird reflection my phone picked up in each picture, the lenses themselves are fine, except for the broken part.
The seats are manual, but in real good shape. Not car show good, but better than driver quality.
And it does have the pan under the bumper...I think. Ther is a panel with a few cutouts that look factory. The thing runs the entire length of the front end and is firmly attached. There aren't any breaks or damage that I can see, and I looked pretty well.

STEVEG; The vent you are asking for is on top of the dash, looks like a rectangular nostril? And the a pillar is black, but looks good. Problem is, I can't tell if they were painted or if they came that way.

Anyone wanting parts, just make me an offer and we can go from there.

Thanks all, and once the car is at the shop I'll snap any specific pics anyone may want.

EGR tube is what I need to get my Cougar back on.the road. I sheared an orifice, and apparently it's easier to replace the whole tube.

Xamot,

I'll give you 20+shipping for that shifter handle, with the attached harness if that sounds good?

Here is a picture. I guess it's called the Radiator Air Deflector..

If it's in good shape like you said i'd like to buy it. Thanks

Is it the smaller piece towards the center of the pic, or the large piece that is closer to the upper right hand corner.
I didn't try and get a pic because I couldn't fit it in the frame. Let me know and I'll look for the smaller one when I get home from school. And if I can get it off from the underneath only, I can likely get it off in the next day or so.

OKay, I checked after seeing what it was you were talking about. And the bad news is it's not there, sorry about that man. What I was seeing was the bottom of the radiator, the part that snaps into the front bumper gravel pan isn't there. So sorry man.

Not trying to block any sales for Xamot, but inner tie rods are like $15 for Motorcraft on Rock Auto. Why even bother with a used one?

same could be said with the control arms and ball joints, realistically. I'm just trying to keep her from floating in the corners.

And Header Panel.. that's a priority piece, please and thank you

I don't have the door keys, neither did the guy I bought the car from, so he popped the trunk lock.
The header panel is fine, needs paint, but is otherwise undamaged. You should be able to see it in the pics, the bumper cover is torn on the passenger side. If you want any specific pics, let me know.
The suspension is something I havent even looked at. I'll try and grab some pic of it this afternoon when I get back from school.

Can't help you with the 1/4 window tho.

Update

Hey all,
Just wanted to let everyone know that the Tbird is going to the shop this week so I will get the parts checked and/or pulled. My dog blew out my knee, so it might be slow going forsome of the bigger parts located in the hard to reach areas. Thanks to everyone that requested parts, both for their business, and their patience.

God bless,
Mike

Any chance you would be willing to cut off the downtubes with the cats just before the 3rd cat?

I love my V8, but I'd love it more if all 8 cylinders worked. (they do now)

My T-bird is like George Jetson's wife, you try to give her a little money, she takes the whole wallet.
