Mark VIII Diff with 3.73's and Traction Lock
I am selling the differential used in my former Mark VIII dune car project. It is the factory aluminum differential that was fully rebuilt and upgraded with a new traction lock purchased from SCP as well as 3.73 gears. The rebuild was performed by a Ford powertrain tech, and I put less than 1,000 miles on it.
It should be noted that the gears were gotten as part of a old ford recall because of possible gear noise. I ran these same gears in an iron diff for a while and never had any noise. Now that they are in an aluminum diff, they may possibly have a slight whine, but I heard zero noise from them while in the dune car.
I will also include the correct speedometer correction gear.
