Never send your food back.

You always hear rumors or see little jokes in movies about what happens when you send your food back - here's a little news story to show you exactly what happened.

http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/s...storyid=107182

You Texans out there - have any of you ever eaten at this place?

I think it's West Bend, Wisconsin.

My girlfriend grew up in West Bend, I'll ask her about it later.

If you go to a restaurant and want you food cooked a certain way then it should come out that way. Not under or over cooked. He shouldn't have done what he did. How would you like it if it was done to you? Hmmmmmm?

i need to hear more to the story but till then, dont bite the hand that feeds you. not that i think its right, he should be fired, but it sure shouldnt be a felony, and judging by the customers willingness to sue it sounds like he might be a complete *******, and wouldnt suprise me if he acted like this towards the employees before he even sent the food back. i'm sure money will cure the "pain" of eating 2 strands of hair

I didn't realize it was in Wisc., whoops. Either way, pretty gross.

And no matter what, even if the customer was the world's biggest a-hole, that place is going down the tubes. Sure, they fired the cook that did it, but that restaurant will from now on be known as the place where someone ate pubes. I wonder how long before they go out of business.

My younger brother used to work the Hardees drive thru windows in a town I won't reveal publicly.

So yeah, I've heard some stories.

Moral of these stories is "don't mess with them unnecessarily"

Like, don't order 15 meals with each one different topping requirements and then find one with pickles (that wasn't "supposed" to have them) and come back around to the window to throw it back in the window. You could end up with dust bunnies pressed into the buns.

Word to the wise, and that's all I'm gonna say about that, other than I am going to always be polite to those fast food employees even if they messed up.

Delete my account.

Never unnecessarily piss off anyone who is in a direct position to exact brutal revenge upon you. This goes for cops, barbers, mechanics, servers, etc.

This should be common sense but it's amazing how many clueless idiots out there violate this basic tenet on a daily basis.

Those who live by the sword get shot by those who don't.

In this guy's defense, though, at least according to the article:

You send back food to the kitchen you do so at your own peril.

I remember reading about a Chinese take out joint in Pa. that had some clown gratifying himself into the fried rice. He may have gotten away with it except for the outbreak of herpes of the mouth and it led back to the restaurant and then to Mr. Happy. Now that is GROSS!!!

I'm with you on that one.

As for the Chinese food thing, I know of quite a few stories that could have gotten people in trouble, and one or two that DID get people in trouble. A lot, really. It's sad that this sort of thing happens more than you'd think. Kinda makes me not want to go out to dinner anymore.

Actually, thinking about it, supermarkets aren't really that safe either.

When I read about this last month one guy was arrested and admitted to putting pubic hair into the steak, I wonder what happened to that part of the story...

Oh that's why, this is another guy that cook did it to on the same night!
