Bullitt and the Bluesmobile should have been higher on the list.

It was never a movie.

Number one is a definite. No better car in any movie ever than the Delorean.

Wow! Three Batmobiles (Mark should be proud!), two sets of Mini's from both Italian job movies, and the De Lorean no arguments here with that choice!

And, where's the 1963 Ford Econoline van Scooby Doo Mystery Machine? It didn't even make the honorable mention list. WTF??

Pictured on the bottom of this page.

As a horror movie fan, and a muscle car fan......

The 'Cuda (or several versions of the "same" car) featured in all the Phantasm movies should've made the list somewhere here.

Instead, we have those little s**tboxes from the Italian Job, Herbie, and Chitty. Booooo.

Delete my account.

What about the "The California Kid" Car?

What about the Lotus from "Pretty Woman"?

What about the 66 Chevy Impala from "Dirty Mary Crazy Larry"?

Some great car chases...

The Nova from "The Seven Ups"

Now on this one am I nuts or did they use the Steve McQueen mustang soundtrack from Bullitt for the Nova chase sounds?

The 1971 Pontiac LeMans from "The French Connection"

Just off the top of my head

I'm pretty sure that's the same soundtrack as Bullitt's Mustang. He even double clutches it even though it shows automatic pedals in the Nova.

And the driver of the Pontiac is the same driver as Bullitt's Black Charger.

movie car chases were so much better in the 60's and 70's

funny thing with the engine sounds, i read somewhere the bullitt mustang sounds were recorded from a GT40 race car. so apperently that nova has an FE 427 lol

I was thinking of the Corvette from Mark Hamill's Corvette Summer the whole time. It's in the honorable mention list though... :P

And the Monte from Training Day as well. Both good. Several of those were crap.
