I remember dune(watched both new and old) and I'm perfectly happy with my eyes the way they are.

Spinning pies like wheels.

Anyone ever read any of the Dune books?

If you like the movie, I recomend the dune books.

The Dune books rank up there with the “Silmarillion” and “Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” as books that are VERY well written, but WAY too dry for my taste.

They all have too many characters to try to keep track of without having a visual reference.
