Not flip this house but flip this car

I came across a 1990 Super Coupe for sale on craigs list. It looks like someone bought it from 93XR7 and is now trying to sell it for 2-1/2 times what he bought it for.

So, other than the asking price being a little high IMO, what is wrong with buying a car to resell? Dealers do it all the time, only they call it a trade-in.

At the same as thinking the guy is an ass for doing it, I must agree with RaceCougar here. OP is just mad he didn't think of it

Heh i bought a '91 SC for the thought of reselling it..
I can almost sell it for 3-4 times what i've spent on it, making a decent profit..
Was thinking of doing that same thing to Rudolf ( a '89 XR7 i converted toa '91-93 style front end, which is red) but i got more into THAT car then i can get out of it.. soooo..
