What Are Your Labor Day Plans....

Here's mine...

On my Mark VIII
Repair blend door AGAIN!!!!
Install steering wheel travel limiters
Install driver door lens AGAIN!!
Clean/Grease seat tracks
Repair light switch LED
Repair passenger seat wiring (redo temporary repair)
Repair ash tray (if possible)
Replace driver outside mirror (verify electrical connections)

That should keep me busy for three days...

97 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC (Chip'd, 3.73 T/L... so far... )
97 Ford Aspire (Slow, but getting 36 mpg (f'n Ethenol!! )
84 F250 Dually w/6.9L Diesel (7.3L IDI pending)
73 Mercury Cougar Convertible w/351C 4V (Partially Restored)
69 F100 LWB w/460 Engine
76 Glastron Carlson 23' Jet Boat w/460 CJ Engine
94 Daily Driven 4.6L is offline

On my Mark VIII
Install new Mach 1 intake
Modify 98 Cobra Rails to fit intake
Install new EV6 four-port injectors
Install PCV oil separator
Take for one heck of a long trip to nowhere....

The plans are to do...

NOTHING!!!

I'm going to actually try to enjoy this one!

Well, now that I think about it, I do have to swap out an alternator and fix the ignition switch wiring on my Taurus...damn!

This is my first labor day off in 4 years and I'm probably gonna be cleaning the place up and shopping for some stuff online. Everyone I know down here has done boogied off for the weekend and family is 1000 miles away.

2x Mercon showers, 2x oil changes, (drink beer), swap the wheels out between the cars, put the remounted amp and non-prototype amp cooler in the red Cougar, (drink beer), sandblast the dohc oil pan and paint it, paint the newly polished dohc intake with clearcoat, (drink beer), paint the newly polished dohc front cover with high temp clearcoat, (make margaritas), read a mil spec pcb manufacturing spec, play Quake 2, (drink beer), play Battlefield 2142, (drink beer), Cut tungsten electrodes for latest HV project, cut aluminum parts for shock tower braces... etc.


Maybe, before the weekend is over, I can Drink some Beer!
