Shaking off the cobwebs
The resurrection of the 1MTNCAT has begun as of Yesterday.
I had surgery completed on my leg last week and am up and about. Had a few friends over to help get it on the ground and perform some minor maintenance issues with it, drain the fuel, pull the tranny and dual exhaust system out from under it, etc. Everything looks good.
Also tried on a used set of cobra wheels for use on the street that I purchased for a decent price at a local sale here. We washed and cleaned the outside of the car and the engine bay where the newly built .020 over 4.6 will reside. Still some minor touching up of the engine bay coming along with re-routing of some wiring etc while it is still down.
Hoping to have the new engine together and in the car the next few weeks and in time for the upcoming Joel Bender Memorial Nats- SB 15 event in August.
