Grand Marquis keyless entry code

I'm working with an 03 Grand Marquis and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how to figure out what the keyless entry code is. I know that our cars sometimes have the code on a sticker in the trunk, but I can't find it in this one. Is there anywhere I should look?

Ford used to put sticker on the one of the trunk arms but maybe someone peeled the sticker off. I don't recall if they ever printed the code anywhere else on the vehicle. If you have the owners manual packet there may be a card with the keyless entry code printed on it.

Actually I just found a thread on a Crown Vic forum that states Ford stopped putting the code sticker in the trunk prior to 2002. However supposedly if you removed the driver door panel there will be a sticker with the code.

You might try on the module itself

Yup. I pulled the drivers door panel off and the code was on the modual inside the door.
Thanks.
