Customize your car in Photoshop

I found this link but I couldn't get it to work right. Maybe Im doing something wrong. I know how to use PS a little but the tutoral is very vague.

very very interesting stuff PS can do...i play around on it sometimes, when im bored in school...i find out new stuff on it everyday...its real fun to play with...yea yeah....call me a dork...

I would not call anyone who can make photoshop work a dork. It still baffles me. I can do the most basic stuff but anything over that and i just get mad at it.
