Wish me luck... I am going into the slammer tonight for 12 hrs.

Everyone please wish me luck. When I got that "wreckless conduct" last month, I was sentenced to 12hrs. in jail. I am about to leave work, and spend the night in jail.

I will let all of you know if the movies depiction is anything close to what it is really like. If you all don't hear from me... I was a$$ raped, and call the cops! heheheh j/k!

For real though... keep your fingers crossed that I don't get a sick-o for a cell mate!

Later!

Good luck. What happened that you got a reckless conduct conviction for?
I don't remember seeing that anywhere...

you'll be lucky if you have a cell mate. You'll probably be in a general holding cell/area... with 40 or so people all in foul moods

Well well well... I see that you all are VERY supportive! heheh j/k

It wasn't bad at all. I arrived at the jail at 6 pm. After I sat around for about 10 minutes waiting for the cop to come and get me, I went and got my photo taken, and I changed into the nice BRIGHT ORANGE jump suit. When I got out from changing, the guard/cop told me that I really didn't even have to change, if I didn't want too... since I was only going to be their for 12 hours. I was like, damn it... why didn't you tell me that in the first place. Since it was a county jail, not state jail, they give you 2 for 1. Which means, every hour you are their, you are credited for two. To make a long story short, I got their at 6, and left at 10. All I did was sit their and watch O brother where art thou. I was kept in sort of a big a$$ holding cell the entire time.

So thank you all for worrying for me.. hehehe I did learn that I wont ever do anything stupid again like what I did before, to get me into this perdicament.

What's wrong with the movie 'O Brother Where Art Thou?'
Did they offer you any popcorn for the movie?

Well, since you brought it up I have a question. If it was a "2-1 sale" and you were scheduled for 12 hours, how is it you only did 4? Shouldn't it have been 6? Not that I would wish any more time in there than you did, but I'm confused. Oh well, at least you got to see a great movie.
