yup
today test drove a 91sc auto which is for sale and what can i say....more powerful than my 96 v8. it has 58k++ original miles too. the only thing is the oil pressure is on the very low side and this seller wants 4k for this car....
what can i say....

My daily job is to fry rice for my customers....

What oil pressure gauge. You mean that analog dummy light to the right of the Tach? As long as it moves it's got 7psi or better in the car.

yes, thoes gauges are known for giving faulty signals, I would have someone who has external gauges check the oil pressure like a mechanic.

ask Dr. Frankencougie. I don't know what the current going price is, and I got a slight discount since I gave him an EEC a couple years back.

But I do know it will be more than $500. "off the street"

All ford are known for crappy guages, my oil pressure guage is always below l until i slam the drivers door a couple times and then it goes up where it belongs until i hit a bump.

4k for a 91 supercoupe seems a bit out of line. The high book on that car is only 3500.

I would see if he bites on 2200, you should be able to get it for 2500 all day long.

Supercoupes seem to be quite in demand. I'm not sure that $2500 all day long is that realistic. Ask some of the people here who own 89-91 SCs if they would part with them for $2500. You may be surprised. I do agree that $4000 is a bit much for a 91. If nothing at all is wrong with the car, I'd expect $3000-$3300.

I respectfully disagree. Any cars on the mn12 platform are worth very little. Regardless of their model.

The only way you are going to get any money out of a car is if you sell it to a fellow enthusiast who appriciates it, otherwise its just a regular RWD sedan.

It's true that lots of people on this BOARD wouldn't get rid of their car for 2500, but to others it's just a form of transportation, with a little more kick than the new Civic they just bought.
