B^e

So I was at the bar Friday night and saw a poster for this stuff. It said now availiable but I was already drinking what was going to be my last drink if I were to be 100% safe to drive home. I wanted to try the stuff, B^e, its an energy beer so to speak made by Budweiser. Advertised as beer with caffine, ginseng, and guarna.

So on my way home from work tonight I stopped and picked up a 4 pack because I was overcome by curiousity. Beer that will get you wired? What could be better than that? Well, maybe if it actually tasted like beer would be a good start.

This stuff is gross, definitely resist the temptation. I had been told by someone on another board not to expect beer, but I still had to try it, he was right, not beer at all. And really, really, really gross.

Remember the Simpsons episode when Homer and Bart become truck drivers, and Homer balances the uppers he takes with sleeping pills? Good stuff.

I haven't tried Full Throttle yet, but I heard it tastes like Mountain Dew. Here's the ironic part - I work for Coca-Cola, who makes Full Throttle. I just can't spend almost $2 for a single can. One of these days I'll break down and get one.

As far as energy drinks, I still like Bawls

Try Sparks beer. It's 16oz and 6.0% alcohol. Tastes much better than B to the E.

As far as energy drinks go, try Pepsi X, if you can import it. We had a guy that swore by it, and I still have 2 unopened cans that are over a year old, and the can is written in Arabic.

I would have to imagine that B^e is some pretty awefull stuff. This weekend when I when to the liquor store to get a case of Bud, they had some sitting out for like a free sample...yeah, I passed on that one. I don't like cheerleader pops(Mike's, Triple black, etc.), so that could be part of it. Too sugary.

YagerBomb, ummm so good.

Thanks for the heads up on the budwiser stuff.

I had a redbull a few times on my cross country trip. It worked well but that's probably because I would get a can while at a gas station filling up the tank. I would down the redbull, tose the can and get back on the road. It gave me a rush for about an hour. Then I was kind of back to normal. A friend said he had like 8 a day on a cross country trip and he felt like he was going to die after it.

I usually don't drink the stuff. Once in a while I'll get an urge to though. I have been drinking water a lot more latley. If you feel you need energy a real ice cold bottle of water does the same for me and its healthy, well not unhealthy.

You could always order it here

That's where the guys order it from at my school, because you can't find it anywhere else.

well just got some today and i have to say it is most definately an energy drink.

Now for the taste, it tastes like a normaly bad energy drink(in my opinion all of them are bad) but it has a skank keg beer after taste. It is also fruity, so after one sip it gets better. Also this is not to be drank when eating or doing anything but drinking because then the taste shocks u again. You just have to get by the first few sips

Weird thing is i don't know how much alcohol is in it. It doesn't give a percentage on the can or the four pack box it came in. Just has a goverment warning about alcohol. Anybody know how much is in it?
