strange paypal emails

Has anybody else been geting weird paypal notices lately?

You have added [email protected] as a new email address for your
PayPal account.

If you did not authorize this change or if you need assistance with

This is just one of about 3 I have gotten in 2 weeks
I don't even have an account anymore because i had to change debit cards.And paypal wont let me use my new one.Any ideas on how to get this solved?

DONT CLICK THE LINK & ENTER ANY INFO!!!!!!!

I got this like 4 or 5 times, and reported them to paypal, and they hit me back saying it is a scam that they are dealing with.....

I had a gut feeling about it especially when it asked for password and stuff.I hit link but didn't add info.Thanks my suspicions were right

If it is from paypal it will start out like:

Dear Mr. Shane Taylor...or Dear (insert business name here)...

I have recieved at least 10 of things...just forward it on to [email protected].

I get a couple dozen of those messages a month. I only forward the new ones to [email protected].

Remember, PayPal will ALWAYS address you by name in an e-mail they send you. And whenever you click a link, ALWAYS look at the address bar up top and make sure that the URL starts with https://www.paypal.com/ Anything else and it's faked. I even double check the URLs when I'm sent there from eBay.
