Post your car weight.....

Hey all, I finally found a place to weigh my car at, it was at this moving company (Atlas) I pulled my car up on the scale and with me in it, my car weighs in at 3,760lbs. Once I got out of my car, it weighed in at 3,620lbs. Lets here from some others who have weighed their cars. I may take the Contour up later and see what it weighs.

I have no idea what mine weighs, but if you are interested in finding out, go to a larger landscaping place. Often people order truck loads of rocks and they will weigh the truck, dump the rocks in and re-weigh it and come up with the price that way. Usually they won't have any problems letting you weigh your car for free.

I can't give an actual number, but my Bird should be around 3700 or so and Casey is north of 3900.

3950 with me in it, 1/4 tank of fuel. The only downside of having all the options, and heavy wide wheels.

Mine wighed in at 3680lbs with me in it. I also had a mostly stock engine with subs in the back and supercoupe seats. Now I have deleted AC, removed passenger accessory bracket, and with the battery in the trunk the front of my car is almost at stock height with eibach springs. The aluminum rear differential, aluminum driveshaft, and smaller converter should lighten things even more.

I wish my car was a light as everyone else's on here. Running a 13.69 at 4100lbs is starting to seem more and more impressive.

I just found this:

CURB WEIGHT

The weight of an empty vehicle, without cargo and driver and passengers, but including maximum amounts of fuel, oil, coolant and standard equipment, including the spare tire and tools.

Im really surprised to see a lot of your cars at or more than 4,000 lbs. The 2wd Explorer with the 4.6 weighs in at just 4,009

Both cars have a full tank of gas, and a small box w/ a 12 in it, and no spare/jack in either. hmmmm I think I need a diet

Last time I weighed myself I was 283. Guess being big is not always an advantage. I think for a guy my size I should be around 240-250. Guess it's time to diet.

with 3/4 tank of gas, spare/jack, full street trim, a full tank of nitrous (~25 lbs.) and me in it, it weighed in at 3972 lbs, so a little less than 3700 lbs without me. i still ran a 13.75 that day.

I had plans to run it without the jack/spare and with less than a 1/4 tank of gas to see if i could get it into the 13.50's on street tires but plans changed before i could get back to the track
