Guitar

Ok, the "who plays guitar" thread got me wanting to buy my fiorst guitar.
Was just checking out ebay and noticed some super cheap guitars.
They are 38 inches.............is this a big enough guitar for a 6 foot tall guy?
I am not looking for quality right now, just something to pick up and play at home and at the campfire.
New baby in the house, so cheap is good.
Appreciate any advice.
Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by 'super cheap' but I spent about $100 for a used Yamaha acoustic guitar, and am VERY happy with it. One of my daughter's friend's bought her a new Rogue Dreadnaught RD-100 for her birthday, and it doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the Yamaha.

Here is one on ebay, exact same Yamaha as I have that is currently at $75 F-310 .

You don't want the cheapest guitar you can find, because it will sound like crap. On the other hand, you can pick up used quality instruments fairly cheaply.

Do not buy a cheapo guitar.
I had a friend who bought one of the $79 Washburn acoustics and the top had lifted within one year. The bridge was so incredibly high, and the action was terrible.
Yahama makes a GREAT acoustic guitar, so go with that.

Sounds like "sound" advice.

The cheapies on ebay are 1 cent and 29.99 for shipping, so I was thinking of chancing it for $30

After these couple responses, I think I will go with a Yamaha.
