Ok, I'll bite.

Does the back end slide out too much going into the corners or does it seem like a snow plow and just run into them without being able to turn?

If it's the first then try increasing the rear sway bar size (if you can) and if it's the second, try decreasing the rear sway bar size.

snow plow. changed both sway bars(lowest fr/highest rear). didn't do much. even when i'm on the grass/dirt(often!), front wheels really won't turn to move. tires won't do much, will they? running the street s3(soft).

I believe you want a smaller size in the rear if you are suffering from oversteer. Change that. Tires will also make a difference but the oversteer problem is the cause.

mine sucks at turning too, plows like it's friggin pushing snow. The power is good but I wish it handled better. If anyone had a formula for great handling/braking on that car Id drive it more, otherwise it sits in the garage and looks pretty (virtually)

the trick to using the GT is to NOT do any weight reduction... yeah, it slows you down a little, but it makes the car a hell of a lot easier to control at 200+mph

can't you adjust the downforce on it? i do that on gt3 when i get a squirrly car, if you can, max it out front and rear, it'll cut down on top speed, but top speed isn't everything, being able to get the hell out of the curves faster is where it is at....

I did all the weight reduction too. I spose you could do the weight balancing as heavy as possible or something, then add a gross looking ricer wing for downforce

not on most of the cars in that game. You need to buy the stupid thing to gain adjustability.

buy it then, no sense in having a car that you can't control, downforce, traction, and proper turning technics are what get you through the curves, fast, if you don't have enough downforce you will need to slow way down to take the twisties, if not, you get to go rally racing off road.

You guys are actually getting understeer? Do you have driving aids turned on or what? When I got mine, oversteer was a huge problem. If I even touched the throttle during a turn, it was spinsville. I had to add some weight to the front of the car. It'll still get loose easily on hills. I think it's just a car you have to get used to driving. It's my favorite so far though.

yea the gt is hard for me to control too but i got nasty oversteer. if i even think about touching the throttle in a turn its an instant 180*. the $50,000 racing tires helped though.

the viper is much easier to drive (with the super soft racing tires) and more powerful at 1032 hp. it was the first car i bought and its still one of my favorites and i got 48 cars.

By the way, which car have you guys used to beat the last race in Professional, if you've made it that far? I bought a Team Oreca Viper for that purpose and it just can't seem to do it. I want the racing Zonda, but I'd have to beat the first 24 driving missions and I'm stuck at around the 10th. I could save up for a Castrol Tom's Supra, but I'd hate to spend all that money and it not be able to win the race like the Viper. I know the 787B could do it, but it's $3,000,000. I'm stuck in the game at this point.

i got the srt-10. got everything done to it. tweaked the suspension just right and it has 1032 hp plus a 50 shot of nitrous. its awesome to drive. the gt for me just gets to squirrly in the corners. its way to easy to swing the *** end out if your not careful coming out of a corner.

theres a car i won in gt3 the gillet vertigo. its a race car and handles incedible. i still havnet gotten it in gt4 yet though. i loved that car.

u talkin about the vertigo? its a pretty bad *** car. 6 cylinder, light as hell and carves corners like a maniac. the one i had in gt3 had around 725 hp.

me and my friend used to just modify different cars on our own and then he'd come over and we'd drag race against each other without telling what mods were done. run what ya brung style. we'd do the 2 player arcade on the test course and line up at the start and go to 400 meters. it was pretty fun. only thing that sucked was in the 2 player mode it wont let you use the racing tires on regular cars so u can only equip the sport tires. and also theres no tcs. so getting the cars to go off the line was a project in itself.
