I can say that one brought things to a screeching, smoking halt.

The coin that isn't a nickel is a quarter. The other is a nickel.

I bet the answer that you are looking for is that electric trains don't smoke. However, when I was a little kid I had an electric train set. When you put a drop of a particular liquid down the smokestack, it would actually produce smoke. (Or at least something that looked like smoke.)

Hah, I just made that up to make you guys think...

About the color chart though. I can read the written colors fine, but I say them out of order if I say it fast enough because I'm dyslexic. Weird!

Why can't you take a picture of a mechanic with a monkey wrench?

There are two rooms at seperate ends of a long hallway. In one room there is a single light bulb, in the other room there are three light switches. You are alone and you can not see the other room, nor the light from the room with the bulb when you are in the room with the switches. You are allowed to leave the room with the switches and go into the room with the lightbulb only once. How can you tell which of the three light switches controls the lightbulb?

I know, but he was just talking to himself and wondered it aloud, and Gollum heard him and thought he was asking him a riddle. Bilbo caught on, asked it again, and Gollum lost.

You are in the room with the switches, turn on two and wait for a while. Then, you turn one of them off. You go to the room with the bulb and if the bulb is on, the one you left on is it. If the bulb is off you feel it and if it is warm, it is the switch you had on but turned off. If it is cold, then it is the switch you didn't touch.
