Anyone have a GMRS license?
I just purchased some 2-way radios to be used on our family vacation to Orlando next month. Of course, being ignorant I had no idea you need to purchase an $80 license from the FCC just to use them for a couple days like we plan to. Apparently with your license you get a call sign which may be asked for when using these radios by the FCC. Does anyone have such a license, was it necessary and can I borrow it?

2013 Ford Taurus SHO (TUXESHO) Tuxedo Black Bone stock for now.
Just like someone was required to take a test to get a license when operating a CB. They don't have the time to enforce something like that. Just don't use your last names.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Just make up "handles" like they did in the old CB days and have fun.
