The EasyRod kits aren't all that bad if done right. And the front clip on this one in particular isn't a "40's style". its a 1950's style custom. Lot of guys built low riders in the 50's and put various different grilles in the 49-50 fords for a custom look. the fenders and hood are all 50 ford. I talked to a guy at a car show that had built an easy rod. His was pure stock (no 50's custom). He said the kit came with hood, fenders, rear deck and quarter extensions. (believe it or not, the original quarter panels are still under there, as is the original deck I believe. they use the original trunk seals!) But he also said that you had to find ORIGINAL or repro chrome to do it. the kit doesn't come with any of the chrome.
