got an idea

ok have you guys seen www.smashmyviper.com if so you've seen some bad stuff done to a nice car . i seen all the vids on there and was thinking about having a brick thrown at the door or a ball bat to the hood.

but......... now to my idea (my mom suggested it) but paint my car and make it look nice. and make a smash my thunderbird.com and really im dead serious about this. i think if i did this i could afford to get a new car and drive around a beat up one for fun. but i figured you guys would think it might be funny to do this. but im considering it. (plus nobody likes my car) and would be glad to see it gone. but im just crazy enough to do this sooooo wutcha think do it or not

well, the charm of "smashmyviper" comes from the fact that its a supercar. give it a go if you want... but I think the T-bird may be a bit pedestrian to attract enough attention to make it worth while.

It's too much of a gamble for me. I don't think you'd make enough to cover the cost required to make it look good enough to smash--if that makes sense.

Night was dark, but the sky was blue,
Down the alley, the ice-wagon flew,
Heard a bump, and somebody screamed,
You should have heard just what I seen.

Who do you love?

You'd be lucky to get $40 out of it. The only people who care about MN12s are...well...us. And we'd only give you the $40 to put a piece of rice out of it's misery.

Better yet, give me the car, I'll make look like real car again and use it for my daily driver or part it out. Much better use of that thing than "gimme a buck and you can take a whack at the T-Bird with a 5 pound sledge."

BTW: Good luck driving a beat up car past an illinois state trooper. They like to nit pick on little things.

That's something worth paying for. The people over at [email protected] would mess their jeans for something like that.

Yeah, paint it and make it look nice, then get www. smashmystupidwingandneons.com and sell the car, take all that money, and buy some import and become the fastest to 1000 posts there. Oh, that was one of the options in the poll.

Ricerbird,

Do you ever have a good idea. You know, besides those white stripes on your hood.

I'll give the kid this: he's taught me not to view post count as a mark of seniority.

I dunno why everyone's calling him a moron, though. You just gotta shake your head and say, "That's our Ricerbird!"

lol He (ricerbird) is entertaining, yet not offensive (and we have had a few of those on here, no names mentioned). And if you compare his posts now (well, excluding this one) to the ones when he first got here, he has improved and gotten smarter. Obviously cause we've all taken him under our collective wings (yes, pun intended) and educated him on T-birds! He's still got this saki(sp?) in his veins that we need to get out however........... Anyone wanna volunteer to give him a transfusion?

Yeah, but he's right: I can't recall Ricerbird ever being a dick to anyone. That's WAY more than you could say about some other members at certain points.

I remember his first few posts, I was absolutely convinced it was a moderator double posting under another name. I mean, "Ricerbird"? He seemed doomed from the start. Thick-skinned, though.

Maybe I'm missing the logic here. I *totally* couldn't do that to a car I had to drive around. Call me crazy, but even when we had our beat down '86 Cougar, I couldn't bring myself to damage it. Hell, I had to rely on it! The car was hardly eye candy (it had rust holes bigger than my head), and it was pretty laughable compared to my other cars. However, it did give us alot of trouble free miles, and the two tone paint job and wire wheel covers were a special character touch, LOL. Ya know, thinking more about it, we had a $200 Escort, too. The thing was the biggest bucket ever. But again, it did get us from A to B. Bear in mind, we're butthole deep in debt with the Mustangs, but I'm not desperate enough that I'm going to damage my own stuff and put on a show for a bunch of strangers to make a quick buck. That's just me though.
