Big Red: Fords Gas Turbine Truck

Hello all.
I'm on a dutch mustang and ford forum.
Now we have a thread about Fords Gas Turbine Truck.
On our forum they try to find out where it whend.

Nobody know's sofare.

So maybe somone from this forum knows something about it.

To refresch you're memories :




'66 Mustang coupe 5.0 Cobra. (still in swap mode)

That's awesome.. In my turbine class we learned that some companies tried out the gas turbine trucks, but thats the first one I've seen with pictures.. cool

Nice truck, wonder what did happen to it. Too bad Chryslers turbine program was scrapped, they were getting somewhere with it too.

Looks like that truck could have had real potential.

I bet that Ford has it in a wareouse somewhere. If anyone watched the Barrett Jackson auction some sold that Big GM thing for somewhere in the $4 million range. That thing was either crushed or parked somewhere and forgotten.
