Children of the late 70's early 80's

You can tell someone was born in the early 80's by

1. You've ever ended a sentence with the word "SIKE."
2. You watched the Pound Puppies.
3. You can sing the rap to the "Fresh Prince of Belair"...and can do the Carlton."
4. Girls wore biker shorts under their skirts and felt stylishly sexy.
5. You yearned to be a member of the Baby-Sitters Club and tried to start a
club of your own.
6. You owned t! hose lil' Strawberry Shortcake pals sented dolls.
7. You know that "WOAH" comes from Joey on Blossom.
8. Two words: Parachute Pants
9. If you ever watched "Fraggle Rock."
10. You had plastic streamers on your handle bars....and "spokey-dokes"
or playing cards on your spikes for that incredible sound effect.
11. You can sing the entire theme song to "Duck Tales!" (Woo-oooh)
12. It was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch
cartoons.
13. You wore a ponytail on the side of your head.
14. You saw the originall "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" on the big
screen...... and still know the turtles names.
15. You got super-excited when it was Oregon Trailday in computer
class at school.
16. You made your mom buy one of those clips that would hold your shirt! **

in west philadelphia i was born and raised, the playgroud is where i spent most of my days, chillin all the time and relaxin all good and shootin some b-ball out in the hood when i couple of guys who were up to no good..started makin trouble in the neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mom got scared, she said, "your movin in with your auntie and uncle in bel air". yo, i whistled for a cab and when it got near, the license plate said "fresh" and it had dice in the mirror. i pulled up to the house at about 7 or 8 and yelled to the cabby, "yo, homes smell ya later". I looked at my kingdom i was finally there, to sit on my thrown as the prince of bell air.

yeah, im a product of the 80s.

Wow, good list. I still have Bon Jovi Slippery when wet on tape. My favorite thing about the 80's, The A-Team, Knight Rider, and from the late 70's, CHiPs!

Anyone remember the Pogoball?
I think thats what it was called.

It was a hard rubber ball with air. Surrounding the ball was a hard plastic ring that you stood on, and bounced. It kinda looked like the planet Saturn and its rings.
