new best in the 1/8th

I ran a new best in the 1/8th mile yesterday. Previous best was a 8.59 with a 1.78 60 foot.

My new best is 8.54 with a 1.79-60 foot. I'm sure with some good air and less humidity it would run a 8.4x. Just want to say thanks to KD as the only new mod was a power steering bypass belt and removing the spoiler which he suggested many months ago.

Hopefully with some skinny front tires and some good air i will be able to get closer to my goal of 12.99 in the quarter.

The gear is coming. Been to busy to play with it. It is a blast to drive. It gets some funny looks at the track when I blow by mustangs. Priceless.

I usually only make it to the track 3-4 times a year but a buddy rented the track today. Got in around 12 passes. Only change from a two weeks ago was skinny front steel spare rims/tires and i put the spoiler back on. Ran a 8.40 with a 1.75 60 foot. Have to wait till march probably for quarter mile times but I'm excited.

Oh and I won the bracket race for the day. Made fifty bucks and got a plaque. Cant beat that for a day.

Ran again today. Managed a new best of 1.73 60 foot with an 8.36. I am moving soon so thats likely the end of my season for awhile. Was a nice end.

I'll say. Congrats! Definitely look forward to seeing how things go for you after winter and your gear change.

THanks brandon. I'm excited but I have to wait till march 15th for the 1/4 mile track to open....I hate winter just for that reason alone.
