Bad Night on the oval!

Hi

Well another bad night at the track!

Started Good finished 2nd in my heat.
Started 3nd in the feature.

Guy cut me off & put me into the wall.

RF smashed!!

Haven't got into it fully. Here's what I see so far.

RF wheel & NEW tire destroyed .
RF lower control arm bent. So bad I couldn't get the spare on
RF rotor broken.
both front fenders mangled
Nose ripped off & bumper bent all over
Radiator ruined
hood bent
RF uni-body tweaked

Raining right now. More info & pictures to follow.

In need of help!!!

That sucks, sorry to hear that.

95 Thunderbird LX 4.6
K&N cold air intake. True 2 1/4" duals, Xenon GFX. 3:55 Trac loc. Beefier trans, 2800 stall convertor, MkV111 aluminum driveshaft.

Rubbing may be racing but crashing definately sucks. Better luck next time. Hope you have a fleet of parts cars to get it back together. I know I have sent a few to the crusher I might have saved if I was doing something like this.

Front K :(

Hi

Well the front K needs to be changed.
Is bent too badly.

I can't get the car off the trailer.

I will piece something together to get it off the trailer.
I will have to fab up the front for the radiator.

looking for help, evenings after 6 & Saturday.

Hi

Well I think I have everything unbolted so I can lower the front K

Anything I missed????

Will lower K Tomorrow after work.
Hopefully have my other K up.
I will need to knoch it to fit the oil pan.
swap the big sway bar & rack.

K up

Hi

Well I got the K bolted up. Now need to bolt everything back up.
including the engine & steering.

Thunder storm shortened my night.

rear K

Hi

Now I broke the Rear K.

pulled the RR rear bushing apart & sheered the LR rear bushing bolt.
pictures to follow. bent the LR upper control arm also( on track crash)

Also lost either the power steer pump or the rack or both!

lost RF twice

Hi

Cut the RF tire twice tonight.

car had a push->loose condition. she would not turn!

engine got to 250*. burnt a wire boot. damn GT40P heads.

Had to pull off with 4 laps to go. flat RF tire.
