Darrin the track prep I knew was bad after seeing u almost in the other lane and then my car about straight to redline maybe next time atleast the timing we tweaked peaked up the speed on yours it just don't help when u can't get it the ground, if the car would have hooked that would have been a 12.3x

My second lap in and I landed this awesome time. I was doing the happy dance the whole way back. lol
60'...2.220
1/4...15.421
MPH...88.27
This will be my official baseline time.
First lap was a 15.75...not too bad considering it was my very first run on a drag strip ever in my whole life.

Last three runs sucked hard because I couldn't get traction due to crappy track prep. Spun them tires through 1st and 2nd. I was so pissed.

Got to ride with TrunkMonkey. Thanks man! That is probably the fastest car I've ridden in since my dad's '07 GT500. I felt like I was in a jet at take off! lol

You are getting there.

You need to get some stall in that thing and better tires. What are you running for tires?

Congrats on your new best TM. 1.61-1.62 60 fts not bad at all with your converter and set up.

The tires don't seem to be the problem when the car leaves you don't even get that rush sensation like it used to on the roots blower, it takes off then it comes into a massive powerband, if the car will leave under power it's gonna be nasty I have a feeling I'll post the whole time slip today I took both my cars and the 86 twisted the input shaft off I guess it's 4r70w time but heck it still coasted thru a 7.1 in the 1/8 would have been an easy 6.90 gauging by the 330 times

I think I might need an auxiliary trans cooler. Those last three runs, I could hardly get over 3,000 PRM when I was cleaning off the tires.

Yea I might have to go up to 4200 stall. Pretty sure I can launch it harder then I was. Might can get it down to 12 flat with it the way it is now.

Robert,

They tires might be once you are getting full power off the line. You need at least 4200 stall on that converter leaving and maybe more dependant on your powerband. The MPH is pretty good and should be a lot better with a lot more launch.

There is no doubt the first 1/8 till you get it really wound up is whats killing you both ET and MPH

I spoke to EECDOC and he was pulling his usual 1.45-1.49 60's there. I would certainly think that with your set up you should be someplace close to at least a 1.50. That would make a huge difference.

Just some things to get sorted out when you get the time.
