Fastest 1/8th mile NA tbird record?

Anyone know the fastest 1/8th mile pass of a N/A thunderbird with a 4.6 of any variety? I think JL did a 7.79 but don't know if that was his fastest or not. I'm kind of curious how far I am from it.

I know everyone loves 1/4 mile but the nearest 1/4 mile track is 2 hours away.

96 v8 4.6 explorer, kooks headers, off road x, magnaflow mufflers, cl tb/plenum, lmaf, gt tube, xcal tune, alum shaft, 3800 dirty dog converter, darrin trans, 373 gears, hoosier slicks on fanblades, pbr brakes, Skinnies on front, No PS or AC, Aeromotive EWP, major weight removal (3380 LBS), 12.78 OLD COMBO.

I have seen his 7's, but if anyone did it, I'm sure it was him.....

Looks like 7.79 is the quickest.
