Don't mess with the Monkey!

I had a very good night at zMax tonight.

My R/T's were spot on and helped me immensely.

I beat two 5.0 Coyote Mustangs one black and one grabber blue, a white Camaro SS, a Mustang Bullitt, and a Grey Mustang LX 5.0

I've got video of every run and I'll be sorting through them in the next few days. Stay tuned for the amazing video of these great runs!

My best race of the night was beating this black Mustang 5.0 with an .016 RT. (My personal best R/T ever!)

Beating a Grabber Blue Mustang 5.0 / Beating a Red Trans AM or older Camaro

...

Beating a White Camaro with my best time of the night.

I think it was an SS edition. The car was so new it had a Temp tag on it.

Mods? Yea, I got mods ...
Air silencer delete, warp drive, dilithium crystals, flux capacitor, Slingshot Rubber band power adder, Moonshine & Gas, Leaf Blower Supercharger, Hamster Wheel & Hamster, Energizer Bunny generating 1.21 gigawatts, Mr. Fusion® Home Energy Reactor, hover conversion and a sextant celestial navigation system (The original GPS)
Best 1/4: 1,320 nanoseconds @ 670,616,629.2 miles per hour

Good job Ron

Not bad at all for the temps. I'm sure it probably got quicker later on unless traction went away.

Ok, it was cooler than the 80° to 85° that I estimated ... at least after 7 PM.

It was actually between 80° and 82° from 5:00 until 7:00 PM then the temps dropped dramatically down to 68° at 9 PM.

DA's ranged from 2251' at 5 PM to 2139' at 7 PM then dropped to 1397' at 9 PM.

Hence the corrosponding drop in my times after 8 PM.

About what I figured looking at the numbers.

The track elevation there is similiar to Mason Dixon I believe and generally in the afternoon up here in August you are looking at 2300- 2800 ft elevation generally.

The numbers correspond accordingly. Its great to note what temps and elevation do to E.T. time as it changes.

Still good numbers in the conditions.

Thanks.

He did have a quicker ET and faster MPH. I beat him at the tree with a .016 RT ... I had about 3/8 of a second head start on him and he never could catch me.

Same thing with the other 5.0 Mustang Coyote that I beat. He had a faster ET and MPH than I did but I beat him at the tree with a .044 RT.

I was wondering that myself too. That's awesome tho, he had the faster car and the faster time but he still lost! Haha I bet he was kickin himself for that one.

I beat every single one of those cars heads up.

You either got it or you don't.

I'm not a fan of bracket racing. Although it does even the playing field some, as Driller, Steve or Blown38 will tell you there's always room to play with the dial in times.

Come down to zMax on a Friday night and make a weekend of it. Run Friday night and get a room in town then drive home on Saturday. Or head over to Rockingham when they T&T if they have any sessions this summer. IDK if they do or not, you'll have to check their schedule.

LOL. I'm working on the video compilation of the runs right now.

I could throw something together just to get it up or I could work on something more exciting. I'm trying to do a little of both right now.

The audio from my GoPro camera isn't the best but you can hear the burn outs ok. The runs down the track are pretty much just wind noise.

Stay tuned ...

I should have something ready to upload to YouTube some time tomorrow.
